It is 90 miles south of Montreal, Quebec and 34 miles from Plattsburgh, NY. Milton offers year round recreation programs and strong civic organizations, and boasts one of the finest municipal libraries in Vermont. The town also has diverse recreational spaces for organized sports, walking, hiking, biking, swimming, snowshoeing, paddling and fishing. The outstanding recreational sites include Bombardier Park, Eagle Mountain Natural Area, The Town Forest, Lamoille River Walk, River Street Park, Sand Bar State Park & Sandbar Wildlife Management Area, 5 fishing access areas, and the Arrowhead Golf Course.

MEDICAL:

The town of Milton is conveniently located close to two major hospitals, the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington and the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Alban’s Vermont. There is a local medical center and several local practitioners.

HAYDENBERRY COMMONS:

The Haydenberry Commons apartment complex is located behind the Milton Square Shopping Center just off Haydenberry Drive adjacent to downtown Milton. It is a short walk to local amenities such as the Hannaford Supermarket, Dollar Store, Rite Aid pharmacy, banks and restaurants.
